How to Create Item
Before you start selling using Moka, you have to create items first on backoffice. You can access Moka's backoffice using a PC, tablet, or mobile device. There is a difference in the backoffice interface between the full site version which can be accessed by PC and Tablet, and the mobile site version which can be accessed by mobile phone.

Steps to Creating the Item in Full Site Version
For the steps, below is how to create items:
- Login to Moka backoffice.
- Visit menu LIBRARY.
- Select Item Library.
- Click Create Item.
- Fill in the item name, item category name, and the picture of the item that will be shown on the App (if any).
- Insert the price (in IDR) on the Price field and the barcode number on the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) field.
- Click Add Variant if you have more than one type of items (For example: Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Fried Rice, Seafood Fried Rice).
- Click Add Variant to add other types of items on a new row.
- Click Confirm.
- To track your item stock, click Start Tracking Inventory Stock and Alerts.
- Input the amount of item stock on the In Stock column and at which amount you will receive a notification once your item stock is depleting on Alert at column.
- Click Confirm.
- To track your cost of goods sold (COGS), click Start Cost of Goods Cost (COGS).
- Tick Track COGS and input the amount of COGS on the Avg Cost column.
- Click Confirm.
- Click Save to apply changes only on the selected outlets. If you want to bulk create items for all the outlets, choose Save to All Outlets.
Steps to Creating the Item in Mobile Site Version
Here's how to create sales items in the backoffice if you use a PC and tablet:
- Login to Moka backoffice.
- Visit menu LIBRARY.
- Select Item Library.
- Click Create Item.
- Fill in the item name, item category name, and the picture of the item that will be shown on the App (if any).
- Insert the price (in IDR) on the Price field and the barcode number on the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) field.
- Click Add Variant if you have more than one type of items (For example: Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Fried Rice, Seafood Fried Rice).
- Click Add Variant to add other types of items on a new row.
- Click Confirm.
- To track your item stock, click Start Tracking Inventory Stock and Alerts.
- Input the amount of item stock on the In Stock Qty column and at which amount you will receive a notification once your item stock is depleting on Stock Alert column.
- Click Confirm.
- To track your cost of goods sold (COGS), click Start Tracking Cost of Goods Cost (COGS).
- Tick Track COGS and input the amount of COGS on the Avg Cost column.
- Click Confirm.
- Click Save to apply changes only on the selected outlets.
